Delete Account and Data Privacy

If for any reason you wish to delete your account and data within the PlugShare database, this can be completed by request. For deleting your account, please select the correct platform for instructions:

• Delete account on Android
• Delete account on Apple
• Delete account on website

Note for account deletions

Once this has been completed, all previous check ins, photo submissions, all account content will be removed. Please keep this in mind before completing your request

Delete account on Android

1. From the landing page, select "Me" in the bottom right corner
2. Within "Me", scroll down and find "Delete my Account"
3. A pop up will appear to confirm your selection
4. Click "Yes" to proceed with the deletion

Delete account on Apple

1. From the landing page, select "Me" in the bottom right corner
2. Within "Me", scroll down and find "Delete my Account"
3. A pop up will appear to confirm your selection
4. Click "Yes" to proceed with the deletion

Delete account on website

1. Click your profile tab on the top right (you should see "[your name]'s Profile")
2. A pop-up window will show your account information; select the "My Details" tab to the far right
3. Scroll to "Actions" and find "Delete Account" on the left side
4. A pop up will appear to enter your current account password
5. Click "Delete Account" to confirm your selection

If you wish to delete all account data and information per GDPR or any other based law, users can submit a form of their account details to be completed. This will be sent to our Customer Support team where they will perform said request and reply when finished.

Data Privacy

Per rules and regulations along with user safety, you are entitled to restrict the amount of data PlugShare receives. Users are given options regarding what can be used for promotional and research purposes. Below are steps you can use to allow, restrict, or block said data

1. Open our main website (plugshare.com)and locate the grey bar at the bottom of the screen
2. Find "Privacy Settings" to open a new bar of options
3. Here you can "Accept All" or "Manage Settings"
4. In "Settings" a new pop up will be shown of the choices you have (pictured below)
5. You may select what can be used or "Reject All". Accept and reject all will automatically save
6. If only some are allowed, click "Save and Exit" to save your choices
