Trip Planner for iOS

Below will give you a step by step process of how to use Trip Planner within the iOS version of our app

On the main screen, find the "Trips" button at the bottom of your screen

Here you will find your saved trips your have previously created. In this example, we will create a new trip by clicking the "+" sign in the top right corner

You will be prompted to a new menu allowing you to enter your "To" and "From" location, select your vehicle, vehicle range, and starting range (miles left from your previous charge)

In this example, I have made the starting location Santa Monica and ending location San Diego. When all information is entered, click "Find Routes"

Trip Planner will appear along with a map of which route you want to take. Select the route that is suitable for you.

During your trip planning, you are given the option to include charging station(s) you wish to stop at before reaching your destination. To add a stop, click the icon of the station where brief details are provided. You can click the name of the description to pull up the fill station information.

If certain location works for you, click "Add to Trip" to add to your route

To ensure you make the fewest stops as possible, when your final stop is shorter than the max range of your vehicle, you will be asked to saved the trip. Enter the name you wish to have and click "Save" when completed.

A confirmation will be made that your trip has been saved to your PlugShare profile

To view your saved trips click "Trips" as mentioned in the first step to view your newly created and previously saved trips

If you wish to delete a trip, swipe left to reveal the "delete" button and click delete to confirm. This also 

This can also be done for saved station stops during the route of your trip. To do this, open a previously saved trip and click "View List" in the bottom right corner

Locate the station you want to remove and swipe left to reveal the "Delete" button. Click delete to confirm your choice
