Pay with PlugShare (PWPS) can accept payments from Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express credit cards. We also support payment options from your mobile wallet, like Apple Pay and Google Pay. You can find more on adding a payment method here: Add a payment method for Pay with PlugShare

Note: The best way to use and manage Pay with PlugShare is through your mobile device. Pay with PlugShare on the web is best used for reviewing your use history, but there are options to use it if you absolutely must.
Managing payment sources on Android
- From the landing page, select "Me" at the bottom of the screen
- Within the "Me" page, select "Payment Methods"
- Tap "Add Card" in the bottom left corner
- Enter credit card information then click "Save"

Choose your default payment source If you have multiple cards saved to your account, your default payment source will be confirmed with a blue checkmark to the right of the listing. If Google Pay is enabled on your device, this will appear by default. You can always use this payment option if you prefer; you are not required to add the same Google Pay card details to your PlugShare account |
Managing payment sources on iOS (Apple)
- From the landing page, select "Me" at the bottom of the screen
- Within the "Me" page, select "Pay with PlugShare" within the "Your Stuff" section
- Tap "Payment Sources" on the top right of the next page, which primarily displays your Pay with PlugShare payment history
From the "Payment Sources" page, you can:
- Add a new payment method:
- Tap "Add a new payment source"
- Either scan your card or provide the details as prompted on the "Add Card" page
- When everything looks good, the "Add Card" button will be enabled for you to save your new payment source
- Edit existing payment methods: Tap "edit" and select the payment source you'd like to update
- Remove a payment method: Swipe left on any specific payment source and tap "Delete" to remove it

Managing payment sources from the location's Pay with PlugShare button
- Tap "Pay with PlugShare" on a participating location and select your charger.
- The payment confirmation sheet will appear and confirm the payment method
- Tap the payment method itself to open the "Payment Sources" page
- If this is your first time using Pay with PlugShare, your Apple or Android device will default to your Apple Pay or Google Pay. You can tap Apple Pay or Google Pay to proceed.
- Either select your preferred payment source, add a new payment source, or swipe left to remove a payment source
- Your selected payment source will display a blue check mark to the right. When the one you prefer is selected, tap "Close" on the top left
- Tap "Confirm Charge" to authorize the payment and begin charging
Managing Payment Sources on the web (plugshare.com)
Currently, payment methods can only be removed using our application. We are working on having this feature applied to the website, but add and removing a payment method is preferred using our application.
