A lot of login trouble starts here. Many drivers don't realize they originally signed up with Google or Apple rather than an email and password. Find your account type below:
How did you create your PlugShare account?
I signed up with Google
Your Google account is your login. Head to the sign-in screen, tap "Continue with Google," and you're in.
I signed up with Apple
Your Apple ID is your login. Head to the sign-in screen, tap "Continue with Apple," and you're in.
I signed up with my email address
You're in the right place. Continue below to reset your password.
Reset your PlugShare password
For email/password accounts only.
Choose your platform:
- Tap Me in the bottom navigation bar
- Tap "Sign in or sign up today"
- Tap "Already a member? Sign in," then "Forgot Password"
- Enter the email address linked to your account and tap Submit
- Check your inbox for an email from noreply@plugshare.com with the subject "Reset your Password." If you don't see it, check your spam or junk folder
- In the email, click "Reset Your Password" or enter the 6-digit code into the app
- Enter and confirm your new password, then tap Submit
- Click Login in the top right corner
- In the login window, click "Forgot Password"
- Enter the email address linked to your account and click Submit
- Check your inbox for an email from noreply@plugshare.com with the subject "Reset your Password." If you don't see it, check your spam or junk folder
- In the email, click "Reset Your Password" or enter the 6-digit code into the pop-up
- Enter and confirm your new password, then click Submit
- PlugShare signs you in automatically
Didn't receive a reset email?
If you signed up with Google or Apple, there's no PlugShare password to reset, so no email will arrive. Head back to the sign-in screen and try "Continue with Google" or "Continue with Apple" instead.
