PlugShare users can subscribe to a monthly or yearly PlugShare membership which allows you to use PlugShare ad-free! This feature will remove ads/banners displayed in various locations in your PlugShare account, such as the map, station details, and so on.
Note: A subscription is not required in order to use the PlugShare platform. We do encourage users to create a free PlugShare profile to get the most out of our platform's features, however the paid membership is completely optional and will not impact core PlugShare functionality in any way.

Subscription across platforms: Please know that the subscription must be activated on platforms individually. This means that if you activate a subscription on your iPhone from your Apple account, the ad-free subscription will apply for your other iOS devices logged into the same Apple account, but it will not apply on an Android device. Please know that the same logic will apply when this feature is released on the web - if you have subscribed on your mobile device, you will also need to subscribe on the web to remove ads there. |
Removing ads on Android
- From the main menu, select "Me" in the bottom right corner
- Select "Subscribe to PlugShare Ad-Free" within the list of options
- From the new banner, choose either our "Annual" or "Monthly" option.
- Once chosen, enter your Google credentials to confirm purchase through the Google Play store confirmation sheet
- This may included entering your credit card or your Google password for confirmation
- When successful, a pop-up will confirm your transaction was completed
Removing ads on iOS (Apple)
- From the main menu, select "Me" in the bottom right corner
- Select "Subscribe to PlugShare Ad-Free" within the list of options
- From the new banner, choose either our "Annual" or "Monthly" option.
- Once chosen, enter your Apple credentials to confirm purchase through the App Store confirmation sheet
- This may included Face ID or entering your Apple password for confirmation
- When successful, a pop-up will confirm your transaction was completed
Removing ads on the Web (plugshare.com)
- Currently, we have not applied this feature to our web version at the moment. We are working to have this available in the near future and ask for your patience on this matter. Thank you!
