Why Pay with PlugShare?
PlugShare is the leading tool for electric vehicle drivers to locate and access charging stations; depending on the region, our users access hundreds of charging networks daily. Many networks have different methods for users to make payment and access the charger. Sometimes it's as simple as using a credit card, but you may find networks that require membership fees, an active balance, a recurring billing plan, or RFID card.
We think that paying to charge your vehicle should be simpler.
What are the benefits?
If a location supports Pay with PlugShare, our users automatically see the option in the PlugShare map's station details. You can also apply a filter to show you only locations that accept Pay with PlugShare. The key benefits of this feature include:
- Allows any driver to easily pay for a charge, regardless of the location’s particular network membership requirements
- Charging sessions can be monitored within the PlugShare app
- Accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express
- Payments are processed securely
Where is Pay with PlugShare available?
Pay with PlugShare is currently available in the United States for EVgo locations within the state of California. Our team continues to add new charging networks daily. You can search for charging locations that offer Pay with PlugShare by activating the "Pay with PlugShare" filter.
